Funded by Jash Engineering as a CSR initiative for the Association of Industries Madhya Pradesh (AIMP), this canteen project transforms a low-lying, underutilized plot in Indore’s industrial belt into a restorative green oasis for local factory workers. The design balances ecological restoration with functional architecture through a two-part master plan: a rainwater catchment lake surrounded by indigenous tree plantations to boost regional biodiversity, and a modern dining facility embedded within the landscape.

 

Positioned to contrast with the chaotic, high-energy environment of the surrounding industrial zone, the architecture frames views of the newly established water body and native flora. By integrating daily communal dining with passive natural cooling and ecological renewal, the project offers industrial workers a tranquil microclimate to pause, nourish themselves, and reconnect with nature during their daily routines.
