Desai Residence
Project Status : Ongoing
Area : 2308sq.ft
Location : Vadodara

Designed as a multi-layered family haven, this four-bedroom residence marries modern architectural geometry with an earthy, tactile material language. The design is structured around a stepped, volumetric massing that features cascading terraces and deep horizontal cantilevers, creating an engaging dialogue between light, shade, and open spaces.
Externally, the home grounds itself using raw stone textures at the base and side boundary walls, providing a durable, tactile anchor that seamlessly links the building to its surrounding landscape. As you move inside, the four bedrooms are thoughtfully distributed across levels to balance private retreat with shared family living.
At the heart of the residence lies a central common space featuring an integrated, intimate library nook—a quiet reading corner designed to foster learning and connection. Interspersed throughout the interior, exposed brick highlight walls introduce warmth, rich texture, and visual interest, contrasting beautifully against smooth white plaster surfaces. Large openings and cutout overhangs invite natural light deep into the living zones while offering shaded outdoor balconies. The result is a light-filled home that celebrates natural material craftsmanship, functional modern layouts, and subtle spatial sophistication.
